Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network.

- Roderick Strong vs. Bobby Roode (c) for the NXT championship
Two began together, lived as one. Each one to the other had become more than a friend, living to meet a common end.They were true, each one knew all is well. Still the elder knew it could not last; hidden memories from the young one's past drew them apart. Both knew that deep within his heart they must part, each their own separate way, but me, I'm just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show, folks.
The show opens with a quick video package for our NXT Championship match tonight before switching to the intro video.
Commentary welcome us to the show and then Kassius Ohno makes his entrance, he has a tag team match.
Hideo Itami & Kassius Ohno vs. SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain)
Ohno and Wolfe to start, lockup and backed into the corner, Alexander putting his face into the turnbuckle but Kassius fires a knee lift off in return! Kicks in the corner, tag to Itami, the disdainful back kick, whip reversed, Hideo gets the boot up, hits the tornado DDT over the ropes and fends Dain off only to get caught by a neck snap over the ropes.
Killian tags in, boots in the corner, and we take a break for a house ad for Balls.
Back from the ad, Wolfe firmly in control, stomping away at Itami but the cover is only good for two. Dain tags in, corner avalanche, big splash, again only two. Neck crank applied, wrenching away on the man who made his name in the crucible of Pro Wrestling NOAH. Big uppercut on the escape, Hideo slips out of a slam, strike rush, but Ohno isn't on the apron!
Big lariat, two count, Kassius is in place now but Itami's on the wrong side of town. Spinning backfist, Wolfe in, big lariats, knee lift, fisherman buster... NO GOOD! Ohno wants the tag but Hideo ignores him, Falcon Arrow... DAIN BREAKS IT UP WITH A SENTON! KO runs in to fight the big man off, big boot lays him out and Ohno jaws at Itami asking him what's up.
Pump kick from Alexander knocks Ohno down, kicks from Itami, fireman's carry but Killian gets a blind tag! Go 2 Sleep connects but Dain absolutely wipes him out...
SAnitY win by pinfall with a running crossbody from Killian Dain on Hideo Itami.
We get footage from earlier today of Ember Moon being interviewed. Ruby Riot takes offense to her take that she's next in line, because she's had her chance and she needs to make way. Ember says she'll take anybody on who stands in her way.
A recap of the Last Woman Standing Match follows, and we take a house ad break.
We get a hype video for Drew McIntyre and he's interviewed backstage about his quest for the NXT Championship. He says he thinks tonight's match will be fantastic but the next time he's interviewed it'll be his title match he's talking about. If you look at the list of former NXT Champions, when these men won the title, the entire world pointed at them and said that's the guy to lead the industry.
That's why he joined NXT, to be part of that lineage. Drew says it doesn't matter if it's Roode, Strong, or Killian Dain, all roads lead to the same destination, Drew McIntyre as NXT Champion.
We get a recap of Tommaso Ciampa's betrayal of Johnny Gargano, and we're told Johnny will be on NXT next week!
A video interview with Peyton Royce and Billy Kay from earlier in the day is played. Peyton says the Mae Young Classic isn't about them so pipe down. The Iconic Duo feel hurt and disrespected, because it was Kay's birthday recently and everybody else in NXT ignored them. Billy wants cake, and Peyton drags her off as our interview wanders over to Andrade "Cien" Almas arguing with a woman.
He doesn't want to talk.
We get video highlights of Bianca BelAir qualifying for the Mae Young Classic and are then informed that our main event is up next.
But first, another video package to set it up, and an interview with Roddy. He says victory is on his mind.
Bobby Roo is interviewed and says he's the reality Strong has to face.
Bobby Roode (c) vs. Roderick Strong (NXT Championship)
Collar and elbow, Strong backs Roode in the corner and breaks clean. Back to the lockup, champ grabs a headlock, defeats the shoot by sliding low, switch to a hammerlock, waistlock takedown, disdainful slaps to the back of the head. Glorious taunt, Roddy takes his head off with a dropkick!
Chops in the corner, whip reversed, up and over, off the ropes, another dropkick! Only a one count, and Bobby bails to the ramp. Strong following, big chop, back in the ring, the champ clubs him with an axehandle and puts boots to him as he tries to get back in after him. Kick to the gut, whip, duck a chop, hold the ropes, half nelson backbreaker, no good!
House ad comes and goes and we come back with Roddy hitting a back suplex lift backbreaker for another cover. Chops and punches in the corner, clubbing Roo down but he gets a boot in return that staggers him and sets him up to eat a diving blockbuster. Stomp to the gut, more stomps follow, Bobby keeping him off balance, smashing him into the corner.
Punch and a chop of his own, another boot, another chop cracks across the arena, Roddy trying to get back in it but the champ cuts him off. Looking for a suplex, Strong blocks, floats over, another half nelson backbreaker but Roode rolls outside! Slingshot dropkick sends Roode rolling up the ramp!
Chops against the barricade but the champ trips him up going over the steps and Strong's leg gets caught between the steps and the ring! A boot sandwiches leg between steel! Tossing the challenger back in, Bobby goes to work dropping an elbow and wrenching the knee hard. Clubbing blows to escape but Roode drops another knee across the leg and follows it up by stretching the leg in the corner.
Seated sentons to the leg over the middle rope as Roddy's family looks on in dismay, shift to repeated elbow drops, just tormenting Strong here. Shove in the corner, chop, kicking his leg out of his leg, hanging it over the middle rope and going for a slingshot stomp but Roddy fires back!
Trying to cut the comeback off with a shinbreaker, Strong throwing hands, kick to the leg, another shinbreaker attempt but Roddy reverses to a sunset flip! Roode with a lariat, he poses and we take a break for a house ad.
Back from our ad break, Roo still kicking away at the leg, wrenching in a toehold as Roddy fights back with desperate upkicks. He forces a break and both men take a minute to get up, setting an opportunity up to put the champion face-first into the turnbuckles. Going punch for punch, Strong having trouble standing but he's fighting through the pain, off the ropes for a lariat!
A few more, whip reversed, boot up, roundhouse kick to the back of the head, Olympic Slam! Slapping life into the leg, charging over, the Bobby thinks face wth an uppercut but gets caught by the capture backbreaker... NOT ENOUGH! Fireman's carry, Roo slips out and again takes his leg out from under him!
Stomping away, knee drop to the back of the knee, yanking the leg, Strong throws him off, schoolboy pin for two, Double R Spinebuster connects... NO GOOD! Double knee gutbuster in return... STILL NOT ENOUGH! Roode wraps Roddy's leg around the ringpost! Champion climbs and is met with an enzuigiri... BACKBREAKER INTO THE TURNBUCKLES!
Bobby ends up outside! Strong rolls him back in for a cover but it's still not enough to keep the champion down. Lifting him up, the knee goes out from under him and they shift to slugging it out. Jumping knee dodged, Roode hits the Glorious DDT... RODERICK STRONG WILL NOT DIE!
Roode jawing at him, talking about his wife and kids, drawing him up, he gets an enzuigiri! Corner knee, tossing back suplex, END OF HEARTACHE! IT'S OVER!
Roddy goes to celebrate with his family but no, referee Drake Wuertz is waving it off! Roode's foot was under the ropes, the match continues! Bobby takes a cheap shot on the outside and follows it with the Glorious DDT in front of his family! Roode throws him back in the ring, Roddy trying to get up but the champ is right on him...
Bobby Roode wins by pinfall with the Glorious DDT, retaining the NXT Championship.
Roode celebrates up the ramp, declaring that it's his NXT forever, and then Strong goes over and hugs his wife.
That's the show, folks.
