Jon Jones knocked out Daniel Cormier to win the UFC light heavyweight championship in the main event of last night’s (July 29, 2017) UFC 214 pay-per-view (PPV) in Anaheim, California. When he was done, he cut one hell of a babyface promo, putting over Cormier as a great man despite the legitimate bad blood between the two leading up to the bout.
After Cormier got his chance to speak, Jones took the mic, stood in the center of the Octagon, and called out current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar:

— #UFC214 (@ufc) July 30, 2017
"Brock Lesnar ... if you want to know what it feels like to get your ass kicked by a guy who weighs 40 pounds less than you, meet me in the Octagon."
Word had been going around UFC is interested in putting this fight together later this year and Lesnar himself said he would fight Jones “anytime, anywhere.”
There’s a lot in the way of Lesnar returning to MMA, but all signs point to his doing so. A fight against Jones would be the biggest draw possible for the UFC right now.
