A rumor went around earlier today (July 26) that a warrant had been issued for the arrest of Saraya-Jade Bevis, who we know as WWE Superstar Paige.
This was of course related to the infamous scene which occurred on July 9 at Orlando International Airport, where police were called to a domestic violence incident involving Paige and her fiance, Alberto El Patron.
Reports of a warrant weren’t completely out of left field, as word came last week the Orlando Police told the State Attorney’s office probable cause existed to charge Paige with battery.
Numerous sources have confirmed there is no such warrant, however.
Paige responded to the rumor without addressing it directly via this Tweet:
Love that rumor mill that the internet provides. Anyways. Happy Wednesday guys and gals ✌ ️ pic.twitter.com/xBSxdvxkLB

PWInsider confirmed with police in San Antonio, where El Patron and Paige reside, that there is no outstanding warrant for her there:
No one matching that name or DOB has been magistrate (arrested) nor has a arrest warrant been issued for such person in Bexar County.
And Newsweek reporter Tufayel Ahmed found the same is true in Florida:
Story going round that arrest warrant issued for WWE wrestler @RealPaigeWWE on battery charges false, state attorney's office tells me.

Orlando police dept tell me they have submitted info for review to state attorney's office. Detectives found "probable cause" ...

... "to charge Saraya Bevis with Battery (Domestic Violence)," but it's up to state attorney's office on how to proceed.

There you have it. Don’t believe everything you hear.
But do keep your ears open on this story, because the State Attorney in Florida could still opt to charge Paige, which would lead to issues with her and WWE under the company’s zero tolerance domestic violence policy.
