AJ Styles wins the US title back in triple threat match on SmackDown Live

Whether Kevin Owens winning the United States championship from AJ Styles at Battleground was a botched finish or not doesn’t matter much now.

“The Phenomenal One” is champion once more.

Chris Jericho returned on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, demanding a shot at the US title. Styles did the same and Commissioner Shane McMahon made a triple threat for the main event.

They went out and tore the house down with a thrilling match that saw Styles capitalize on an Owens pop-up powerbomb to Jericho, pinning him to win back the championship. Owens lost it after, throwing a monitor and exclaiming how unfair it was that this all went down this way.

Then he challenged Styles to a rematch next week.

This isn’t over just yet.
