WWE booked multiple matches and the promise of a resolution to the Universal title picture a full week in advance of this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Despite that, the show couldn’t hold its viewership.
Indeed, this week’s show drew 3.06 million viewers, down from last week’s 3.15 million.
The hourly breakdown:
Hour one: 3.15 million
Hour two: 3.12 million
Hour three: 2.91 million
If nothing else, Raw is managing to avoid major drop offs as the show goes along. They’re telling good stories and the SummerSlam match card is already shaping up nicely, so they have plenty to promote going forward.
