It was just less than a month ago that Becky Lynch was saying she thinks we’re just a year or two away from a women’s Royal Rumble match. Not long after, rumors started going around that WWE has at least discussed the possibility of doing it.
Count Sasha Banks in, and she’s got an idea for how to make it work:
"A first ever women's Royal Rumble? January is coming up, I think that would be awesome to have all the women, past, present, future. Let's do it. Let's get that rumble going, that would be awesome."
A look at the current roster shows that even if they used women from NXT, they couldn’t make it to 30 without bringing in women from the outside. Of course, that’s without considering the Mae Young Classic and whoever may be added to the roster following that tournament.
Plus, it only makes sense to bring back a few stars from the past. This is a Royal Rumble, after all.
