Kurt Angle’s secret to crying on cue

Whether they liked or disliked the reveal of Jason Jordan as Kurt Angle’s long-lost son from Raw last Monday (July 17), most folks seem to agree to Jordan and Angle did a good job with what the material they were given.

This wasn’t exactly something their amateur wrestling background prepared them for, you know?

The General Manager did most of the heavy lifting on Raw itself (Jordan’s chance to talk came on the post-show Network interview special) and punctuated his explanatory promo with real tears.

How did he trigger the waterworks? In an impromptu Facebook Q & A, the Hall of Famer explained:

I thought to myself what it would be like to see my son Kody for the first time ever, and didn’t know it for 20 years. I thought if it were real, how would I feel?

With Daniel Day-Lewis retired, looks like we have our next great method actor.
