Not sure if you remember, but there was big hullabaloo among pro wrestling fans way back in June of 2017, and it was focused on the inaugural women’s Money in the Bank match at the pay-per-view (PPV) event of the same name.
WWE may have backtracked a bit on their decision to have James Ellsworth climb the ladder and throw the briefcase down to his friend-who-is-a-girl Carmella when they re-did the match nine days later and had the Princess of Staten Island win (mostly) on her own. But Jimmy Dream is still getting mileage out of the fan rage which followed a man grabbing the contract in the first-ever version of the match for the women’s roster.
And he’s doing it while serving out his 30 day suspension from SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan for getting involved in the second ladder match!
Going to a wedding today, maybe I'll slide in and catch the bouquet so the girls can't, since I like doing that sorta thing
