WWE Raw viewers rise for Kurt Angle’s secret reveal, Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe

WWE had two legitimately big promotional items to push for a full seven days for this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw with the reveal of Kurt Angle’s life changing secret and a Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe Universal title number one contender match. The result?

A slight bump in viewers.

Indeed, the show drew 3.15 million viewers, up from last week’s 3.00 million. The hourly breakdown shows sustained interest all throughout the night:

Hour one: 3.14 million
Hour two: 3.23 million
Hour three: 3.08 million

Angle’s big reveal — that Jason Jordan is his son — isn’t exactly getting great reviews, and the Reigns vs. Joe match didn’t go to a finish with the return of Braun Strowman, but they left a big hook for next week.
