It’s been the question on everybody’s lips for the better part of a week.

No, not who cancelled Talking Smack... what is Kurt Angle’s secret?

The Raw General Manager (along with his friend Corey Graves) has been receiving threatening texts about something on and off for several weeks now. Angle said last week it could end his career and wreck his family, but in order to get out in front of it, he would reveal the person central to the mystery - someone he said “I love you” to - on July 17. With that date at hand, Kurt had some second thoughts, but with some moral support from Graves, the Olympian’s plan went ahead.

At 10PM Eastern, Angle entered Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to the familiar strands of “Medal” (and “You Suck”). He apologized for being a distraction to the WWE Universe, but he knows from experience that actions have consequences. The son an old college girlfriend gave birth to nine months after their last date, a child who went on to become an All-American, and a WWE Superstar!

As you can see in the video at the top of the post, production more or less left the moment to breathe. Angle said he’s added his son to the red brand roster. Graves explained his involvement by invoking the ties he and Jordan, a former NXT tag champion, share from WWE Developmental. Beyond that, we’re left pulling up WWE Network for the exclusive interview with Kurt after Raw goes off the air tonight.

We know JJ is excited...

And one person who definitely has questions is his old(?) tag partner, Chad Gable...

Gable will have to get his answers from the post-show like the rest of us.
