Talking Smack will no longer be a weekly program on WWE Network

WWE.com

Well, fudge.

Bad news if, like me, you were a fan of WWE’s post-SmackDown talk show, Talking Smack. The company has confirmed multiple reports that the Renee Young-hosted program has been cancelled.

It’s not all doom and gloom, however, as their official statement on the cancellation of Talking Smack as a weekly program does say it and sister program Raw Talk will continue to air after pay-per-view (PPV) events.

We continuously review WWE Network’s programming line-up based on a variety of factors, including viewership and subscriber research. Talking Smack and Raw Talk will air following pay-per-view events, and Tuesday will continue to feature 205 Live.

So you’ll still be able to get performers receiving a little more leeway with their interviews, worked shoot-style promos and hopefully some Renee and Daniel Bryan wackiness... just not on a regular basis.

Anyone else as bummed by this as me? Or were you among the many folks apparently not seeking Talking Smack out on the Network after you watched the blue brand each week?
