WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR JULY 10

Let’s try to get to the sky, hang on or you’re going to die. Sour life can turn sweet, it’s laying at your feet. Sweet child with an innocent smile watches closely all the while; don’t be fooled when he cries, keep looking at the eyes, or better yet, read the liveblog I'm here to do for this pro wrestling show, folks.

The show opens with a recap of the Ambulance Match from Great Balls of Fire and the aftermath thereof, and thence into the usual intro video for Raw.

Big Cass makes his entrance. He takes in the atmosphere for a second before asking the crowd how they're doing, because he is doing spectacular today. After what he did to Enzo last night, he couldn't feel any better. It doesn't matter if you saw it or not, because he's gonna refresh our memory with a still picture recap of him beating on Enzo in the corner and press slamming him to the outside.

Just when you thought there might be a glimpse of hope for Enzo, the boot right to the face, the nail in his coffin, and the last picture says it all, him standing over Enzo's fallen body like he always stood over him normally. But the best part wasn't even on pay-per-view, it was after Amore went to the back.

They roll footage of Enzo being helped to the back by referees and Cass says that should serve as notice to everybody in the Raw locker room, from the bottom of the totem pole all the way to the top, the very top. He warns the fans that chanted for Enzo and him not to jump on the bandwagon now. And to anyone who ever doubted him, from NXT to now, one day he'll be the Universal Champion, and when he wins, he'll hold it high and shove it down all their throats.

He'll be champion, main event WrestleMania, be on the Tonight Show, be on posters, banners, represent WWE to the fullest every day of his life, and why? Because nobody can touch him, nobody is on his level, nobody can look him eye to eye, nobody is bigger than Big Cass. He's seven foot tall, on top of the mountain, and--

WELL, IT'S THE BIG SHOW!

He gets in the ring and squares up against Cass, and indeed, Big Show is bigger than he. Cass gets in his face and jaws, and Show drops him with a headbutt! Brawling into the corner, against the ropes, Show takes him down and hits a gator roll! Cass getting away, Show hammering him with kicks and knees, punching in the corner.

Going for the WMD and Cass bails, leaving Show standing tall in the ring.

Commentary goes back to the ambulance crash and promises us a Braun Strowman Update for later tonight. Plus, Brock Lesnar in the house! But first, Finn Balor and Elias Samson will have a wrestle after the break.

Back from commercial, the Drifter is here to sing us a song. He wrong this song for Finn Balor, and Finn makes his entrance midway, he must like it so much!

Elias Samson vs. Finn Balor

Collar and elbow, Samson with a scoop slam out of it, circling, back to the lockup, Finn floats over, throws a few punches and grabs a side headlock. Elias looking to shoot him off, Balor slides low, back to his feet, shoots him off this time and catches him with an elbow.

Whip across, dropkick to the face, Drifter back at it with shoulder blocks in the corner, across, sidestep the charge, Finn hits the enzuigiri, climbs, but Samson heads outside and we go to break with the stalemate.

Back from commercial, Samson firmly in control, throwing hands, snap suplex, only two. Grounded full nelson applied, Balor gets to his feet, drops down, victory roll pin, two count of his own. Elbows to escape a waistlock but the Drifter fires a knee off and puts Finn in the corner. Feet up on a charge, forearms knocking Elias down, dropkick connects.

Chop in the corner, across to the other for the same deal, a third time, the Drifter gets his boot up, pops up top but eats an enzuigiri and falls to the outside, where Balor drills him with a dropkick! Penalty Kick off the apron caught and Samson trips him on the apron! Fujiwara armbar applied, posting up, wrenching it in but Finn scrambles and forces the break with a hand on the ropes.

Picking the arm, Balor gets a single leg takedown in return and throws a double stomp for breathing room. Charging forearm, a second sidestepped and the Drifter hammers him with forearms! Putting boots to Finn, he comes back with forearms, dazing Elias. Wrench of the arm gets Samson back in it, schoolboy pin with the trunks but Finn kicks out!

Forearms for the Pele kick, sling blade connects, shotgun dropkick...

Finn Balor wins by pinfall with the Coup de Grace.

The Hardy Boyz come to the stage to congratulate Finn on his victory and he waves them on to the ring. They'll be in action after the break.

Back from commercial, the Hardyz are in the ring with microphones in hand.

Jeff starts off, saying that they battled Cesaro and Sheamus for thirty grueling minutes yesterday and they fell one second short. The tag teams in the back are thinking they're done and they should FADE AWAY AND CLASSIFY THEMSELVES AS OBSOLETE! Matt says they came out here to make a PROCLAMATION, the Hardyz aren't going anywhere, they've only begun to make magic within the WWE Universe.

Enter the Club. Luke Gallows says it wasn't "other tag teams" saying they were done, it was them, the Good Brothers. Karl Anderson says they're not the Hardy Boyz of old, they're just the Old Hardy Boyz, and Luke adds that they should go elsewhere because they're magic killers and the ring belongs to them.

Matt says they're a little stitched up, bruised, and somewhat BROKEN, but if they think the ring belongs to them, why not bring a referee out and determine that right now?

Hardy Boyz (Jeff & Matt Hardy) vs. the Club (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows)

Matt and Karl to start, collar and elbow, Hardy forced in the corner but he breaks with a punch and backs Anderson off. Off the ropes, elbow, side headlock, Jeff tags in. double whip, double back suplex, Gallows running interference, Poetry in Motion! The Club backs off to the outside and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Gallows has a side headlock in on Jeff. Hardy fights out only to run into a lariat, Irish whip, corner avalanche, tag to Machine Gun. Boot of Doom connects, Matt makes the save! Anderson draws Brother Nero up but gets caught by the jawbreaker and Matt tags in! Forearms and headbutts, smashing his face into each turnbuckle repeatedly!

Charging lariat, bulldog denied but the Side Effect connects! Luke running interference, Hardy knocks him down, diving elbow on Karl, kick to the gut, Twist of Fate blocked with a shove and Big Hoot connects with a roundhouse kick. Sick Kick connects, tag made...

The Club win by pinfall with Magic Killer on Matt Hardy.

The Club celebrate on the ramp--

(SAY YEAH!)

The Revival come down to the ring to attack the Hardyz! They put their faces into the turnbuckles, Dash Wilder lays Matt out with a diving knee! Pulling Jeff up... SHATTER MACHINE!

Up next, MizTV presents the Mizzies, after the break.

Back from commercial, Miz, Maryse, and the Miztourage are in the ring together with a podium with several Mizzies on it.

Miz delivers his usual opening patter and puts the Mizzies over as the most important award in show business. Forget about the Emmys and the Slammies and the Oscars, which lost their legitimacy when they snubbed the Marine 5, this is the only awards show with real credibility to point out the winners from Balls.

Best Supporting Actor... it's a Mizzie first, a tie! Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel win, for their roles in the Miztourage! Bo thanks someone very special to him, the Miz, because without him, none of this would have been possible, and he didn't just change his career, he changed his life.

Axel gets on the mic and says Miz did so much for them, and he looks and feels like a million bucks, and now because of Miz, he's gonna make a million bucks. Miz puts them over as underutilized third generation talent who are now award-winning superstars before saying behind every great man is a beautiful, gorgeous, sexy woman, and the next Mizzie is for her...

He doesn't need an envelope, though, as he talks the award up big, plucks the Mizzie from the table, and gives it to his wife, Maryse. She is, understandably choked up at receiving such an award, and she says she never could have done it without Miz, and Miz says he couldn't have done it without her and thanks her, saying he loves her. They hug and kiss.

And now, the moment we've been waiting for, the final Mizzie, an honor not just for the most outstanding performance, for someone with performance chops, the box office draw, the leading-man looks, the Mizzie for Greatest Man in WWE goes to... Dean Ambrose? Just kidding! It's the Miz! He is, was, and always will be the greatest man in WWE.

Folks say he runs his mouth, but when he speaks, he speaks the truth. He said he'd make the Intercontinental Championship important and he did it, he said he'd beat Dean Ambrose and he did it. Plenty of folks talk a big game, but they can't get it done, frauds like the Hardyz, Akira Tozawa, and Seth frickin' Rollins.

When they speak it's just noise, but when he speaks, it's truth. He said Dean Ambrose would cave under the pressure and he did exactly that. Granted, Dean is the toughest competitor he's ever been in the ring with, maybe even the toughest man in WWE, and if that's true and he beat him, what does that make Miz?

Enter Dean Ambrose. He's all business, right to the double leg on Miz! Bo and Curtis pull him off and beat him down as Miz directs traffic but Rollins makes the save! HE ABSOLUTELY DORKS BO WITH THE TABLE! THE SHIELD BOYS RUN THE MIZTOURAGE OFF AND STAND TALL!

Commentary tells us we're getting a rematch between Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins later and remind us of the Braun Strowman update coming our way as well as Brock Lesnar's appearance.

Bayley and Sasha Banks are walking backstage, they have a tag team match after the break.

Back from commercial, Seth Rollins is walking backstage when Dean Ambrose catches up and asks him what that was. He says Miz was running his mouth and he wouldn't stand for it. Dean tells him he's got his shiny new reputation to protect but he doesn't trust him. This isn't gonna be some kinda Shield reunion, Seth should stick to fighting his battles and he'll stick to his.

Alexa Bliss & Nia Jax vs. Bayley & Sasha Banks

Sasha and Alexa to start, circling, Bliss right in the ropes and forcing a break! She steps out... and right back in! Slap, tag to Jax, she shoves Banks away and Bayley tags in. Nia with a headbutt for the hugger, Banks attacking Alexa outside and back in, Lou Thesz Press, mounted punches, Bayley with a chop block, elbow drop to the back of the head but Jax rolls outside and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Banks in on Bliss, choking her in the corner. Double knees follow, cover for a nearfall, tag, off the ropes, Bayley with a low-angle bulldog and another nearfall on the champ. Desperate tag to Nia, the Hugger hits the ropes repeatedly, forearms, Jax scoops her up but Bayley slips out, low dropkick to the knee puts her in the corner.

Charging back elbows, up and over to the apron, another kick to the knee, stunner over the middle rope! Fist drop to an interfering Bliss but Jax runs the Hugger over! Nia pressing the attack, throwing Bayley aside, dragging her up into a cobra clutch and wrenching away before tossing her over and making the tag.

Irish whip assisted slap, choking Bayley over the ropes, a cover gets two, Jax back in. Headbutt, back to the cobra clutch, just tossing her around but the Hugger fights free with back elbows, jumping for the tag but it's denied! Alexa in again, she provokes the Boss so Nia can take Bayley out, knocks her off the apron, stomp to the Hugger. Climbing up top, Twisted Bliss... SASHA MAKES THE SAVE!

Jax throws Banks outside, sizes her up and charges her but the Boss moves and Nia eats barricade! Bayley thinks fast...

Bayley & Sasha Banks win by pinfall with a schoolboy pin from Bayley on Alexa Bliss.

Commentary puts over the Braun Strowman Update and we go to break.

Back from commercial we get a Goldust video package.

He says R-Truth wasn't made for the spotlight, and even though he tried to ruin his premiere last week, the Shattered Truth is a box office smash, the biggest hit of the summer. So it's only natural to give his audience what they want (inhale), an encore performance. The sequel is never as good as the original, but nothing about him is normal.

So grab your popcorn, snuggle up with someone you love, and enjoy the Shattered Truth Part II. The Golden Age is back.

Commentary tosses to a recap of last night's Ambulance Match once again, and again we are reminded about the Braun Strowman Update before we go to break.

Back from commercial, R-Truth makes his entrance.

Goldust vs. R-Truth

Goldust with a cheap shot early, backing Truth in the corner with right hands. R turns it around on him, Stinger splash into a powerslam, but Goldy cuts him off with a knee. Drop-down slap countered, the former 2-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion with mounted punches in the corner but Goldust slips away, hangs him up, and stomps him down.

Right hands to the dome, patting his head in-between before raining 'em down. Smashing Truth's face in the corner, big chops, R back with right hands and kicks, Goldy goes low, snapmare, off the ropes, elbow drop to the face, only a one count. Goldust grabs a reverse chinlock, Truth out with rights, he charges in, big spinning spinebuster but R has the wherewithal to grab the bottom rope.

Mounted punches in the corner, Truth counters with a falling powerbomb but he can't capitalize! Back to their feet, Truth rallies, charging blows, spinning elbow, going for the scissors kick but Goldy takes his legs out from under him! Going to work, snapping it back, dropping a knee repeatedly, going for a spinning toehold but Truth throws him outside.

Back in, jumping heel kick connects, the scissors kick connects... NO GOOD! Goldy back on the leg, throwing him into the ringpost...

Goldust wins by pinfall with the Final Cut.

Commentary talks up the Universal Championship match from Balls, because Brock Lesnar will be here after the break.

Back from commercial, Kurt Angle makes his entrance.

He says Balls was a hugely successful event and he can't wait for next year's. But as things sometimes do in the WWE, things got out of hand, and he's talking about the Ambulance Match. Braun Strowman refused medical treatment and he doesn't know if or when he'll return, but the show must go on, and he introduces Brock Lesnar.

Kurt tells Brock he probably took a few years off his career in their WrestleMania match, but Brock gets better and better every year. He thought Joe might take him out but he's still Universal Champion, so congratulations. They shake hands and Paul Heyman says their names before asking if there's anything else.

Angle wonders if they'd be interested in his ideas as to who will be the challenger at SummerSlam, and Paul says he didn't come out here to have a creative meeting and he knows Kurt has all these personal problems and corporate decisions, so they'll thank him for his time and bid him a pleasant good evening. They go to leave and...

Enter Roman Reigns. Kurt says they're not done with his conversation, and Roman has a lot of nerve coming down here after what he pulled last night, like he's Lando Calrissian or something. Reigns says he's standing in the ring with the father of hardcore himself Paul Heyman and he went too far? They were part of the Attitude Era and they blew everything up!

Kurt says that was then and this is now, and Reigns says they should thank him, because Angle doesn't know how to handle Braun and Brock is never around to, so if anything he did them a favor and maybe they owe him one... and maybe that one is Lesnar, at SummerSlam. Heyman likes that and Brock takes the mic away, saying he's gotta be kidding him.

Reigns thinks he deserves a title shot? He doesn't deserve shit. Right now is as close as he's gonna get to the title, he doesn't deserve it.

Enter Samoa Joe. He says they're all living in a wonderful fantasy land and he'll drag them back down to reality. Brock says the reality is he kicked his ass last night, that's the reality. Joe says not to worry about that, because sooner or later he's putting his ass to sleep and he knows in his heart of hearts that he didn't win last night, he escaped.

Lesnar says he did, it's for real, but Joe continues, telling Roman he's never beaten him. Paul says in his opinion, which does matter around here, the Big Dog that put the Undertaker in his Samoan trophy case, that's a case for a title shot, but Samoa ate an F-5 so he's never getting a title match again.

Joe and Brock get in each other's faces, jawing! Samoa tells him to listen to his advocate, he's protecting him from Joe, because he knows he's the one, the man-- look at him when he's talking to you!-- that has his number. Reigns questions that, pointing last night out. Kurt tells them to listen up but Samoa cuts him off telling Roman he's real mouthy for a man that got beat by Braun last night.

Reigns says look at him and then look at Strowman, if you can find him. Angle finally gets a word in edgewise and says next week Joe and Roman will wrestle to determine the number one contender, but if they fight tonight the match is off. He wants them to look forward to SummerSlam and leave, but the crowd wants a fight!

Angle asks if they're really gonna give up a title shot and they settle. Joe backs off up the ramp, Brock laughs, and Roman circles, staring.

Commentary discusses what they just saw when Corey Graves gets a call he has to take. Michael Cole hypes up our main event of Wyatt/Rollins, and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Angle is in his office looking distraught at his phone. Corey Graves rolls up and confirms he got the same text. Kurt can't let this get out, he'll lose his family over it, his career could be destroyed. Next week, when he goes public, he could be saying goodbye at the same time.

Corey tells him he's beloved and respected by everyone and he has all the confidence in the world that it'll be just fine. Kurt isn't well comforted by this but it's all Graves has and he takes his leave.

Akira Tozawa & Cedric Alexander vs. Neville & Noam Dar

We get a recap of Tozawa telling Titus O'Neil that he needs to set things right and get him a rematch after the balls-oriented finish at Balls last night.

Cedric and Dar to start, Alexander drops him with an elbow nearly immediately! Another, Noam just spiraling away, an uppercut follows, whip, Dar holds the ropes and bails into Alicia Fox's loving (?) arms. Cedric out after, Fox delays him a moment and Dar heads back in but Alexander is right on him.

Tag to Tozawa, drop toehold into a basement dropkick, only two. Clubbing blow, kick to the back, the Stamina Monster rolling, putting boots to him in the corner, axehandle, arm wringer, Noam gets separation with a leg kick and makes the tag. Neville right in to a Frankensteiner, a sliding knee, standing senton, but he cuts Akira's rally by putting him face-first into the turnbuckles.

Dar stomping away on a distraction and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Neville has a top wristlock in on Tozawa, shifting to an arm wringer, Akira desperate for the tag, throwing elbows, whipped in the corner but he boots Dar off the apron! Neville eats a knee strike, Tozawa crawling, the King picks the leg but the tag is made!

Alexander in with a diving lariat, whip reversed, handspring up and over and then the handspring gamengiri on the second try! Climbing up top, kicking Noam away but Neville crotches him on the top turnbuckle. Forearm, climbing after, thinking superplex but Cedric blocks with punches and it's Neville whose balls are hung on the top rope!

Titus wants the tag for his boy Tozawa and he gets it! Alexander knocks Dar down, suicide dive, the Stamina Monster kicks the rope, climbs up top...

Akira Tozawa & Cedric Alexander win by pinfall with the diving senton from Tozawa on Neville.

Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins will be after the break.

Back from commercial, we get a recap of the Mizzies, because Raw is a three hour show.

Seth Rollins is interviewed backstage. We get an eye pun and he talks about how he didn't come out to help Dean Ambrose earlier, just to shut Miz up, which he thinks he did a darn pretty-- a pretty darn good job about it. And Bray is a fraud, just another guy who can't hang with Seth freakin' Rollins.

(Wyatt Noise)

Bray Wyatt is in the black room. He says the finest pieces of Seth Rollins are part of him now, and all that's left is sin and regret, because you can't change who you are. You can't erase your finest acts of betrayal because they dug a hole deeper than you can imagine. How dare you take your eyes off him, defy him, he's everywhere and everything.

So go on, Kingslayer, show him your teeth. It doesn't matter, because he'll never deny him again, and for his sins he will burn, because he's here.

Bray makes his entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial in time for Seth's entrance.

Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins

Circling, Bray goes for a spinning backfist but Rollins is too far away. Collar and elbow, Wyatt backs him into the corner and breaks dirty with a shove. Back to the lockup, Seth backs him in this time, Bray looking to break dirty but Rolins is ready and blocks. Wyatt turning it around, pummeling him in the corner, charging in but he eats a superkick for a nearfall!

Outside shortly and back in, Bray hits that freight train crossbody but the cover is only good for one. Wyatt fired up in the corner, hanging upside down, inverted facelock but the Kingslayer fights out and passes the Eater of Worlds outside before landing a suicide dive! Bray charges in with a lariat but Seth sidesteps and goes after his hand, wrenching the fingers apart.

Back in the ring, stomp to the hand, wishboning the fingers! Choking Wyatt against the ropes, back outside, wristlock punches, pulling him over to the steps and smashing his hand against the steps! Seth to the apron, he springboards in and gets caught by the Rock Bottom, and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Bray has a wicked seated rear chinlock in. Rollins fighting, switch to the sleeper hold, escape, hard whips, corner avalanche, Wyatt remains in control and gets a two count. In the corner, clubbing forearms, Seth fires up and fights back with punches only to get dropped by a DDT for another nearfall.

Reverse chinlock applied on the mat, back to the corner for more forearms, setting Rollins up top, headbutt and he is on dream street as Bray climbs to join him. Kingslayer out with elbows, perched up top, nobody home, on his feet, Wyatt hits a knee, superkick in return, right hand gets an enzuigiri and both men are out on the mat.

Seth fired up, sling blade, suicide dive, springboard lariat... NOT ENOUGH! Charging forearm, boot in the corner, diving blockbuster, Rollins still with a full head of steam but the Eater of Worlds will not fall. Up top, Wyatt catches him but Rollins is able to deadlift out of the clutch, toss him around, and land a Falcon Arrow for another nearfall.

Wristlock applied, Bray out, inverted facelock, Seth out, schoolboy pin, onlytwo, Avada Kedavra, wristlock, Wyatt with a headbutt that takes the injured eye out! Rollins is swinging blind, Bray comes over...

Bray Wyatt wins by pinfall with Sister Abigail.

Bray poses and exhorts us to follow the buzzards.

(Wyatt noise)

The lights come back up and Bray is gone, but Miz and the Miztourage are making their way to the ring! They surround Rollins on three sides before coming and and putting the beatdown on him with a little help from That Damned Numbers Game. Ambrose comes down with a chair and makes the save! Waffling Miz's back over and over until Axel and Dallas yank him out!

Kurt Angle is backstage on the phone, saying he understands but whoever it is has to stop thinking that way. He invites them to show up next week, and says he's proud and they'll tell the whole world together and whatever happens, happens. He tells them he loves them and says goodbye.

That's the show, folks.
