WWE had the good fortune to avoid the NBA Finals again this Tuesday, as SmackDown LIVE ran without competition from the basketball or hockey playoffs for a second straight week.
And, for the second straight week, the blue brand drew pretty much the same size audience.
While the June 6 show, which advertised Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kevin Owens in advance, was technically down a bit at 2.349 million viewers, that’s essentially flat from the 2.35 million who watched a week ago.
That was good for the sixth highest viewership among Tuesday cable originals, behind the usual news & politics shows. SmackDown’s .74 rating won the 18 - 49 demographic for the second week in a row.
Here’s a rundown of the blue brand’s audiences this year:
May 30 - 2.35 million
May 23 - 2.33 million
May 16 - 2.175 million
May 9 - 2.348 million
