Updated plans for WWE in the UK, including new deals, Network show

WWE.com

WWE has been steadily breaking into the UK more and more, including a live special called by Jim Ross, and Pete Dunne winning the UK title from Tyler Bate in a show stealer at NXT TakeOver: Chicago.

So what’s next?

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE has inked top stars — like Dunne, Bate, Trent Seven, Wolfgang, Mark Andrews — to new deals so they can work as needed in both the UK and at the Performance Center. The current plan for television is to tape every six weeks for the Network show and live events every other week.

There had been some rumors floating around that WWE was reconsidering giving the UK wrestlers a full show and turning it into its own touring brand but it looks like the promotion is going full steam ahead.
