Kalisto vs. Apollo Crews added to the Extreme Rules Kickoff

The story of Apollo Crews being recruited to “The Titus Brand” by Titus O’Neil has been running on Monday nights for a while now, with the focus over the past several weeks being on Crews’ buddy Kalisto trying to convince his fellow NXT alum it’s not the right way to go.

In Baltimore tonight (June 4), they’ll take the angle to the extreme... or at least the pre-show of the Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) being held in Royal Farms Arena.

With only six matches announced for the main card, WWE hasn’t showed a lot of urgency to fill out Raw’s latest event. But with all of those bouts set for the three hour PPV itself, they also needed something to fill up the sixty minute Kickoff. There’s only so much Renee Young, Peter Rosenberg and David Otunga can do, after all.

So we’ll get Crews trying to avenge his loss to Kalisto from a couple weeks back, while the former United States champion looks to prove O’Neil’s win over him from last Monday only happened because Titus grabbed his tights during his cover.
