Lavar Ball’s appearance on Miz TV goes off the rails

Well, that will probably go down as one of the more memorable guest appearances in WWE history.

Beyond that, Lavar, Lonzo and Lamelo Ball’s visit to Miz TV on the June 26 Raw in Los Angeles is open to interpretation. Or Mizinterpretation, one of the many words, sounds and gestures Lavar seemed to improvise on the spot during the segment.

It started with his entrance, which was... this...

... and got weirder from there. Here’s some video - the second version WWE released after yanked down the first one they Tweeted because one of the Lavar’s son’s was caught on a live mic telling his dad to “beat that [n-word]’s ass” (here’s a clip of that, if you want it and WWE has issued a statement regarding it here).

In case you were confused and/or amused by what happened after the exchange of words between the Intercontinental champion and the Los Angeles Laker’s #1 draft pick’s father, here it is again in GIF form:

Dean Ambrose was sent out to - I’m not even sure? Try to save the segment? Segue to a match? He accomplished neither goal, but did show off his Big Baller Brand t-shirt and says “Balls” a lot as he name dropped both the guests and the next Raw brand pay-per-view (PPV), Great Balls of Fire.

When the show returned from commercial, the Balls were gone and we were in the midst of a six-man tag featuring Miz and his Miztourage of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel against Ambrose, Heath Slater and Rhyno.

If WWE’s goal in having Lavar and his sons on Raw was press, well, mission accomplished. If it was any kind of cohesive build to the match which followed or, pretty much anything other than chaos... it was less successful. But still entertaining in a “what the hell did I just watch” kind of way.
