Brie (and Birdie Joe) are sending papa bear Daniel Bryan back to work tonight on SmackDown.
The General Manager has already vowed to “fix the wrongs” from Sunday’s night women’s Money in the Bank match, where James Ellsworth climbed the ladder and dropped the briefcase to his friend Carmella - setting off an internet firestorm with folks arguing whether WWE’d just invalidated an historic moment or executed a great heel move.
Now, as you can see in the above video from the Bella Twins YouTube channel, his wife is telling Bryan to “set James Ellsworth right for all the women out there”.
Seems pretty tongue-in-cheek on both DB & Brie’s part, but fans are already on edge about one man playing a crucial role in the women’s division, and Bryan being the on to give Ellsworth his comeuppance will probably ruffle more feathers.
We will, of course, have to wait and see how it all plays out. One character who isn’t worried, and is intent on doing his job regardless of booking controversies, is Jimmy Dream:

Maybe Bryan, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Tamina and Natalya can all line up and give Ellsworth “a big hand full of this... HAH”?
