WWE Money in the Bank 2017 results: The New Day win, but The Usos keep the tag team titles

The New Day showed up on SmackDown Live after weeks of vignettes following the “Superstar Shake-Up” and were immediately awarded a shot at the tag team titles, held by The Usos. That shot came at tonight’s (Sun., June 18, 2017) Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

They spent a lot of time getting the heat on with Kofi Kingston taking a beating while Big E begged for a tag. He came in and was throwing everyone around but he was taken out on a dive and The Usos went back to work on Kofi and his bad leg.

It broke down into complete chaos, with too many great spots and near falls — including the closest two count I’ve ever seen in my life — to count. It was a real shame, then, when The Usos simply decided they had enough and allowed themselves to be counted out.

That meant New Day won the match but not the titles.

You know a rematch is coming.
