WWE MONEY IN THE BANK LIVE BLOG & MATCH COVERAGE

Trust the plain and simple minds, so moronic; feel the knife inside our backs, still thrusting. Sheltered eyes see blind, but me, I'm just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show, folks.

The pre-show opens with Renee Young welcoming us to the show and introducing the panel, currently consisting of Sam Roberts and Booker T. They kick off talking about the women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match a bit before tossing to Dasha Fuentes in the social media lounge. She'll be joined by the Usos later for a Q&A.

The panel shills for the WWE Network, including a bit of hype for Great Balls of Fire next month, and this feeds into a video package for the aforementioned women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Naomi joins the panel for a more detailed breakdown of the ladder match.

Toss to the social media lounge where the Usos are primed to answer questions. First up, "Day one ish", which they explain as being that Uso struggle, being dragged through the mud and coming out on top, and if you don't get it after that, it ain't for you. They're asked how the New Day is different, and they have three dudes but the Usos feel like they have their number and guarantee it'll be the Usos coming up number one.

Last question, if they could wrestle any legendary tag team, that's hard to answer, but the Hart Foundation, Harlem Heat, Demolition, Legion of Doom, and if they really want get crackin', they'll wrestle the Hardy Boyz. But the Boyz, they claim, don't want none. Continuing the list, the Samoan Swat Team, Headshrinkers, Harlem Heat, but they circle back to the Hardyz to close it out.

The panel discusses the tag title match in depth before shifting to the SmackDown Women's Championship, with video package and the discussion. The WWE Championship is up next, again, video package and discussion, and at last our pre-show tag is next.

Hype Bros (Mojo Rawley & Zack Ryder) vs. the Colons (Epico & Primo Colon)

Ryder and Epico to start, collar and elbow, Colon gets a side headlock, Zack shoots him off but gets knocked down with a shoulder block. Drop down, back body drop gets scouted with a kick, Ryder back with a dropkick, tag to Rawley. Double-team forearms, only two, Epico forces him in their corner and tags Primo in.

Face smash into the turnbuckles, pasting the Hype Bro with chops but Mojo just gets fired up from it, jogging in place! Kick to the gut cuts him off, up and over, he drops low, three-point stance, rolling, dodging a dropkick, getting in Colon's face and declaring that he ain't hype.

Block the lariat, counter with a slam, tag to Ryder, assisted forearm again, Broski Boot dodged when Epico makes the save but Zack wipes 'em both out with a slingshot dropkick! Primo attacks Ryder's knee and knocks him outside as we take a break for a house ad.

Back at it and Epico locks a half-crab on Ryder, targeting his surgically repaired knee. Zack kicks him off, crawling for the tag, but he gets shoved in the corner and has his leg stretched over the middle rope. Punch blocked, firing back, boot up, Colon takes him off the top with a trip! Tag to Primo, boot to the face, wrenching the leg unholy and stomping the knee into the mat.

Elbow drop to the knee into a leg grapevine, Zack escapes, fingertip away from a tag but he's denied and Epico tags back in. DDT on the knee, again, a third time, only a nearfall. Seated senton on the leg hung up on the bottom rope, straight suplex but Ryder reverses to a neckbreaker!

Mojo with the hot tag, in like fire with boots and a lariat, Stinger splash, whip across, Primo gets the boot up, Rawley gets Hyperdrive off... EPICO BREAKS IT UP! The match breaks down, Ryder running interference, Rawley hits the charging forearm...

Hype Bros win by pinfall with the Hype Ryder on Primo Colon.

The pre-show panel shills for the Network again before tossing to a video package of and doing some final discussion on the men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

The show proper kicks off with a video package built around the idea that one night can change everything and running through the impact all our key matches tonight may have.

Becky Lynch vs. Carmella vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya vs. Tamina (WWE SmackDown Women's Championship Briefcase Money in the Bank Ladder Match)

Five-way standoff, everyone breaks outside for a ladder except Tamina! She boots women and ladders off the apron before dragging one in and knocking Becky down with one. Charlotte blindsides her before she can set it up, a boot for her, a boot for Carmella, Nattie in with the discus lariat but Flair nails her with the exploder in return.

Snuka with the superkick, Samoan drop for the Princess of Staten Island and again she stands tall by herself, picking a ladder up. Neidhart over, she takes a superkick and Tamina sets a ladder up above her in the corner, catapult into the ladder! A boot to the midsection cuts Lynch off and Snuka throws a lader into her to boot.

Charlotte in with a forearm to the back of the head, ladder shot to the gut, but Nattie throws her outside. Becky blasts Tamina with the ladder and gets into a tug of war with Neidhart. They truce long enough to wipe Snuka out with it but neither woman will let go of the seven feet of steel.

Becky fends Carmella off and Natalya capitalizes with a slam onto the ladder, and then finally sets the ladder up, positioning it for easy access to the briefcase. She climbs, but Flair is right behind her! Nattie kicks her to the mat, Charlotte gets back up and is again kicked down.

Third try, electric chair applied into the electric chair drop! The Queen climbing, but Carmella crotches her midway up the ladder, throwing elbows and kicks as she climbs past. Pass to the other side, reaching, Flair climbing after and they trade forearms at the top of the ladder! Charlotte nearly retrieves the briefcase, Carmella stops her... TAMINA KNOCKS THE LADDER AND BOTH WOMEN DOWN!

As Snuka tries to get the ladder back upright, Neidhart attacks her from behind with a shorter ladder, knocking her down against the ropes in writhing agony. Lynch from behind, Nattie with the double leg into the Sharpshooter, Carmella breaks it up with a superkick! Throwing clubbing blows, Flair yanks her away, going for a lariat, Neidhart ducks and hits a butterfly suplex, leaving her the last woman standing!

Drawing Becky up, whip reversed, Nattie takes the ladder hard and a springboard kick to boot. Lynch sets the ladder back up and begins climbing but Carmella yanks her own and throws her into the ladder. Becky able to catch herself, she starts climbing the corner ladder and Carmella snaps her away with a Frankensteiner as James Ellsworth cheers her on.

Setting the ladder up, the Princess of State Island climbing but Charlotte yanks her down and lays her out with a big boot! One for Lynch, Tamina wipes Nattie out on the floor, Flair climbs, she almost has the briefcase but Snuka comes from behind, clubbing! A headbutt knocks both women off the ladder.

Tamina knocks the ladder over trying to get to her feet and Charlotte wipes her out with a spear, knocking her clean outside! Another spear puts Snuka into the steel steps, and she kicks Neidhart away going to get back in the ring. Climbing the turnbuckles, Flair goes high-risk... SPIRAL TAP TO THE FLOOR!

Carmella is alone in the ring, climbing the ladder, but Becky Lynch comes from behind! The Lasskicker powerbombs her into the mat! The crowd firmly behind her, Lynch begins the climb up the ladder... JAMES ELLSWORTH TIPS IT OVER! He's trying to wake Carmella up but she's out cold! JIMMY DREAM CLIMBS THE LADDER AND RETRIEVES THE BRIEFCASE! He drops it and Carmella catches it.

The bell rings but the referees are arguing amongst themselves if the match can actually end that way. Ellsworth takes the ring announcer's mic and makes the announcement...

Carmella wins (unless she doesn’t), retrieving the Money in the Bank briefcase by catching it.

Carmella and Ellsworth celebrate while the referees continue debating.

We get a house ad for Great Balls of Fire and Lana is interviewed backstage.

She says the women are very lucky she wasn't in the ladder match because it would have been very different. Furthermore she crushed Naomi already, and she's glad she's ranked number one as the favorite, because when she shocks the world tonight and silences all the doubters, it's going to be that much sweeter, and finally the Land of Opportunity will be ruled by the only ravishing SmackDown Women's Champion.

Big E does the deal and the New Day make their entrance. They're here to talk about the Boosos. Tonight they're gonna show them it's not the state pen, but rather the New Day's playpen, and in this playpen, there will be no tears (real or tattooed), peanut butter & jelly will only be used for sandwiches, and New Day keep their playpen spotless, which means you never have to worry about dropping the soap.

So prepare yourself for some new tag team champs, because New Day rocks, etc.

New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) vs. the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (c) (WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship)

Kofi and Jimmy to start, bit of mat grappling, Kofi gets an armbar and Jimmy reverses to a wristlock, before Kingston gets a side headlock. Uso deadlifts him into his corner and tags Jey in. Kofi with a low pass outside, he wipes Jey out and makes the tag, E with the big splash on the apron!

Quick tag back to Kingston, assisted Penalty Kick, only two. Arm wringer to an arm bar, Jimmy with the blind tag and the low bridge, wiping Kofi out hard on the floor! Double team suplex puts Kofi back-first into the ringpost! Back in the ring, Jimmy keeping him grounded with a reverse chinlock, a few slaps when he goes to break and Jey tags back in for Demolition Decapitation. A straight right lays Kingston out on the mat as the Usos tell him he's in the wrong part of town.

Kofi fighting back with punches, sunset flip but Jimmy drags him outside to the floor once again. Back in the ring, Kofi gets the pop-up double foot stomp... tags made! Big in with the trifecta of belly-to-belly suplexes, hip swivel, off the ropes, Jimmy get a kick and a slicing right off but charges right into a Rock Bottom in the corner for a nearfall.

Up for the Big Ending, Uso slips out, charges in, back body drop to the apron, blind tag from Kofi, spear through the ropes, Kingston takes Jey out, Jimmy rolled back in, Trouble in Paradise ducked, up and over, Jey with a tag and Jimmy takes the knee out. Stomp to the back of the knee, arm-trap half-crab applied and Kofi needs the ropes in a big bad way.

Jimmy throws a suicide dive on E, gets caught and belly-to-belly suplexed, Jey breaks the submission to superkick Big out of the way, he goes for a superkick at the same time as Kofi goes for Trouble in Paradise and they get tangled up but Kofi turns it into a Dragon sleeper! Jimmy running interference to break the submission, Kingston takes care of him, SOS... NOT ENOUGH!

Kofi hobbles over for a Stinger splash, E makes the tag and Jey hits a superkick but gets caught by Big on the splash! Big Ending connects... JIMMY BREAKS IT UP AT THE LITERAL LAST MOMENT! Punching Big's face in, Xaiver gets on the apron with the trombone, E lariats an Uso off, gets caught with a small package and when he goes for the spear again he gets caught by a pair of knees.

The Usos charging over, back body dropped to the outside, Kofi with the Coffin Drop! Back in the ring, Jey up on the shoulders, Midnight Hour... JIMMY YANKS JEY OUT OF THE RING! The Usos are going to get their titles, they're gonna take the countout!

Lana posing to start and Naomi charges her into the corner and lays forearms and kicks in. Referee Jason Ayers makes the separation and Lana smashes Naomi to the mat a few times. Champion with a kick, off the ropes with a sliding slap, bulldog into the turnbuckles, but a diving crossbody misses and Lana makes a cover and gets two out of it.

Naomi to the apron, shoulder thrust but Lana catches the kick and snaps her leg over the top rope and kicks her to the floor. Out after her, drawing the champion to her feet and throwing her back in, another cover and another two count, so she lays knees into Naomi's back and locks a half nelson neck crank in.

Champion to her feet, Lana takes her down with a mat slam, snap suplex into the ropes and Naomi comes up lame. Another one, wrenching the leg over the bottom rope and hanging her on the middle for a hook kick to knock her down, but again the cover is only good for two. Carmella and Ellsworth strut off with the briefcase as Naomi celebrates her victory.

We get a WWE Network sizzle reel and then a new episode the Fashion Files, er, Fashion Vice this time.

Fandango is telling Chet he needs the forensics today, not tomorrow. Tyler Breeze rolls up and Fandango promises they're gonna get him when their dial-up internet connects and scares the bejeezus out of Breeze. It's a message to answer the door and Tyler retrieves a VHS tape marked "watch this". They put it in the VCR and it's two shadowy figures taking credit for the attack.

If they want to know who they are, they'll meet them in the ring tonight. They may want to be starting something, but Breezango don't stop until they've got enough.

Unfamiliar-but-awesome entrance music plays... it's Maria Kanellis & Mike Bennett!

Circling, collar and elbow, Randy goes behind and starts throwing hands, backing Jinder in the corner and clobbering him. Whip reversed, Orton ducks a lariat, thinking RKO but Mahal blocks and bails to the outside. He confers with the Singh Brothers before heading back in the ring for a Lou Thesz Press!

The Viper raining down mounted punches, suplex into the ropes, and going for that Garvin Stomp. Elbow, lariat over the ropes, and another on the outside for good measure. Smashing the Maharaja into the cover of the announce desk, Randy rolls him back in side but Jinder tries to roll right out the other side.

Looking for the rope-hung DDT, Mahal counters wtih a back body drop and Orton lands badly on his knee. Throwing punches, Jinder capitalizes, chop block, club to the back of the neck, kicks to the legs, the champion breaks the count and that gives Randy the opportunity to mount a comeback but the Maharaja puts him into the steep steps and cuts the rally off.

Back in the ring, Jinder goes right back after the leg, wrenching it over the ropes as referee Mike Chioda counts and warns him. Choke in the corner, step-up knee drops across the throat and another choke under the ropes as Randy stumbles towards his dad. Jinder out to follow, back suplex on the barricade puts the WWE Champion in Cowboy Bob's lap!

Taking Mahal to the announce table, the champion turns it around on him, shinbreaker on the table! Smashing the leg over the edge of the table, back in the ring, and the pressure stays on the leg, wrenching it up as the Viper throws hands to try and break it up. Randy blocks punches and fires his own back, whip reversed, he scouts the back body drop, a fallaway slam but again the knee is irking the challenger.

Shinbreaker on the barricade this time, Orton trying for one-legged RKO but the champion cuts him off with a kick, only good for two. Driving the knee into the mat, stomping the hip, the Maharaja locks a stepover toehold on and keeps the Viper trapped against the mat.

Knee drop across the throat, Jinder locks the figure four leglock on with Ric Flair watching! Orton trying to pry the leg up but he can't so he switches to trying to roll over and reverse the pressure. He's about halfway... he gets rolled all the way over! Mahal gets the ropes and forces the break!

Clubbing blows, seated sentons on the leg hung up on the bottom rope, working a spinning toehold, Randy reverses to a pin, no dice! A lariat from the champion lays the Viper out and the Maharaja sets him up top. He says this is for Cowboy Bob, he hooks the superplex but Randy fights him off with body blows and headbutts.

Hobbling around, Orton puts Jinder up top with a suplex lift, clubbing the back...A SUPERPLEX FOR COWBOY BOB! Trading punches, then kicks, then headbutts, then uppercut for forearm, slugging it out until Mahal kicks the leg out from under him but Randy gets a pair of one-legged lariats off, snap scoop powerslam connects!

Jinder to the apron, the rope-hung DDT connects and the Viper goes to that special place with all of St Louis cheering him on... RKO! THE SINGH BROTHERS GET JINDER'S FOOT ON THE ROPES! The Singhs beg to get their man disqualified but referee Mike Chioda throws them out! The legends jeer them as they make their slow walk down the aisle and the Singhs turn around and get in their faces.

They're yanking Cowboy Bob out of his seat! Randy saves his dad! Singhs flying everywhere, he dumps one into the timekeeper's area and back suplexes another into the barricade! Breezango (Fandango & Tyler Breeze) vs. the Ascension (Konnor & Viktor)

Breeze and Viktor to start, collar and elbow, the big man gets Tyler against the ropes but the hot cop backs him off with punches. Shoving Breeze in his corner, Tyler fights back, Fandango comes in and the match breaks down. Konnor shoves Tyler into a knee from Viktor, only good for one so he throws mounted punches instead.

Double chickenwing lift, Viktor is legal again, slap to the chest, cover, no good so he grinds his forearm into Breeze's face. Drawing him up, clubbing and stomping him down, Viktor with a neck crank as Konnor tags back in. Elbow drop gets two and the man who was once like a rat locks a reverse chinlock in.

Tyler gets to his feet, throwing elbows, whipped to the ropes he comes off with a kick and Deputy Dango tags in. Forearm, he knocks Viktor down and starts chopping away at Konnor. Whip reversed, spinning wheel kick, up top and he changes directions to clobber Viktor instead!

Konnor capitalizes with a nearfall off a huge spinebuster, tag to Viktor, who comes in stomping. Backbreaker double team incoming but Tyler knocks Konnor off the top, Fandango reverses...

KO surveys the chaos, climbs the turnbuckles, but Sami Zayn comes over... PRESS SLAM THROUGH THE LADDER!
