WWE MONEY IN THE BANK LIVE BLOG & MATCH COVERAGE
Trust the plain and simple minds, so moronic; feel the knife inside our backs, still thrusting. Sheltered eyes see blind, but me, I'm just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show, folks.
The pre-show opens with Renee Young welcoming us to the show and introducing the panel, currently consisting of Sam Roberts and Booker T. They kick off talking about the women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match a bit before tossing to Dasha Fuentes in the social media lounge. She'll be joined by the Usos later for a Q&A.
The panel shills for the WWE Network, including a bit of hype for Great Balls of Fire next month, and this feeds into a video package for the aforementioned women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Naomi joins the panel for a more detailed breakdown of the ladder match.
Toss to the social media lounge where the Usos are primed to answer questions. First up, "Day one ish", which they explain as being that Uso struggle, being dragged through the mud and coming out on top, and if you don't get it after that, it ain't for you. They're asked how the New Day is different, and they have three dudes but the Usos feel like they have their number and guarantee it'll be the Usos coming up number one.
Last question, if they could wrestle any legendary tag team, that's hard to answer, but the Hart Foundation, Harlem Heat, Demolition, Legion of Doom, and if they really want get crackin', they'll wrestle the Hardy Boyz. But the Boyz, they claim, don't want none. Continuing the list, the Samoan Swat Team, Headshrinkers, Harlem Heat, but they circle back to the Hardyz to close it out.
The panel discusses the tag title match in depth before shifting to the SmackDown Women's Championship, with video package and the discussion. The WWE Championship is up next, again, video package and discussion, and at last our pre-show tag is next.
Hype Bros (Mojo Rawley & Zack Ryder) vs. the Colons (Epico & Primo Colon)
Ryder and Epico to start, collar and elbow, Colon gets a side headlock, Zack shoots him off but gets knocked down with a shoulder block. Drop down, back body drop gets scouted with a kick, Ryder back with a dropkick, tag to Rawley. Double-team forearms, only two, Epico forces him in their corner and tags Primo in.
Face smash into the turnbuckles, pasting the Hype Bro with chops but Mojo just gets fired up from it, jogging in place! Kick to the gut cuts him off, up and over, he drops low, three-point stance, rolling, dodging a dropkick, getting in Colon's face and declaring that he ain't hype.
Block the lariat, counter with a slam, tag to Ryder, assisted forearm again, Broski Boot dodged when Epico makes the save but Zack wipes 'em both out with a slingshot dropkick! Primo attacks Ryder's knee and knocks him outside as we take a break for a house ad.
Back at it and Epico locks a half-crab on Ryder, targeting his surgically repaired knee. Zack kicks him off, crawling for the tag, but he gets shoved in the corner and has his leg stretched over the middle rope. Punch blocked, firing back, boot up, Colon takes him off the top with a trip! Tag to Primo, boot to the face, wrenching the leg unholy and stomping the knee into the mat.
Elbow drop to the knee into a leg grapevine, Zack escapes, fingertip away from a tag but he's denied and Epico tags back in. DDT on the knee, again, a third time, only a nearfall. Seated senton on the leg hung up on the bottom rope, straight suplex but Ryder reverses to a neckbreaker!
Mojo with the hot tag, in like fire with boots and a lariat, Stinger splash, whip across, Primo gets the boot up, Rawley gets Hyperdrive off... EPICO BREAKS IT UP! The match breaks down, Ryder running interference, Rawley hits the charging forearm...
Hype Bros win by pinfall with the Hype Ryder on Primo Colon.
The pre-show panel shills for the Network again before tossing to a video package of and doing some final discussion on the men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
The show proper kicks off with a video package built around the idea that one night can change everything and running through the impact all our key matches tonight may have.
Becky Lynch vs. Carmella vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya vs. Tamina (WWE SmackDown Women's Championship Briefcase Money in the Bank Ladder Match)
Five-way standoff, everyone breaks outside for a ladder except Tamina! She boots women and ladders off the apron before dragging one in and knocking Becky down with one. Charlotte blindsides her before she can set it up, a boot for her, a boot for Carmella, Nattie in with the discus lariat but Flair nails her with the exploder in return.
Snuka with the superkick, Samoan drop for the Princess of Staten Island and again she stands tall by herself, picking a ladder up. Charlotte in with a forearm to the back of the head, ladder shot to the gut, but Nattie throws her outside. Becky blasts Tamina with the ladder and gets into a tug of war with Neidhart. They truce long enough to wipe Snuka out with it but neither woman will let go of the seven feet of steel.
Becky fends Carmella off and Natalya capitalizes with a slam onto the ladder, and then finally sets the ladder up, positioning it for easy access to the briefcase. She climbs, but Flair is right behind her! Nattie kicks her to the mat, Charlotte gets back up and is again kicked down.
Third try, electric chair applied into the electric chair drop! The Queen climbing, but Carmella crotches her midway up the ladder, throwing elbows and kicks as she climbs past. Pass to the other side, reaching, Flair climbing after and they trade forearms at the top of the ladder! Charlotte nearly retrieves the briefcase, Carmella stops her... Throwing clubbing blows, Flair yanks her away, going for a lariat, Neidhart ducks and hits a butterfly suplex, leaving her the last woman standing!
Drawing Becky up, whip reversed, Nattie takes the ladder hard and a springboard kick to boot. Lynch sets the ladder back up and begins climbing but Carmella yanks her own and throws her into the ladder. Becky able to catch herself, she starts climbing the corner ladder and Carmella snaps her away with a Frankensteiner as James Ellsworth cheers her on.
Setting the ladder up, the Princess of State Island climbing but Charlotte yanks her down and lays her out with a big boot! One for Lynch, Tamina wipes Nattie out on the floor, Flair climbs, she almost has the briefcase but Snuka comes from behind, clubbing! A headbutt knocks both women off the ladder.
Tamina knocks the ladder over trying to get to her feet and Charlotte wipes her out with a spear, knocking her clean outside! Another spear puts Snuka into the steel steps, and she kicks Neidhart away going to get back in the ring. Climbing the turnbuckles, Flair goes high-risk... SPIRAL TAP TO THE FLOOR!
Carmella is alone in the ring, climbing the ladder, but Becky Lynch comes from behind! The Lasskicker powerbombs her into the mat! The crowd firmly behind her, Lynch begins the climb up the ladder... JAMES ELLSWORTH TIPS IT OVER! He's trying to wake Carmella up but she's out cold! JIMMY DREAM CLIMBS THE LADDER AND RETRIEVES THE BRIEFCASE! He drops it and Carmella catches it.
The bell rings but the referees are arguing amongst themselves if the match can actually end that way. Ellsworth takes the ring announcer's mic and makes the announcement...
Carmella wins (unless she doesn’t), retrieving the Money in the Bank briefcase by catching it.
Carmella and Ellsworth celebrate while the referees continue debating.
We get a house ad for Great Balls of Fire and Lana is interviewed backstage.
She says the women are very lucky she wasn't in the ladder match because it would have been very different. Furthermore she crushed Naomi already, and she's glad she's ranked number one as the favorite, because when she shocks the world tonight and silences all the doubters, it's going to be that much sweeter, and finally the Land of Opportunity will be ruled by the only ravishing SmackDown Women's Champion.
Big E does the deal and the New Day make their entrance. They're here to talk about the Boosos. Tonight they're gonna show them it's not the state pen, but rather the New Day's playpen, and in this playpen, there will be no tears (real or tattooed), peanut butter & jelly will only be used for sandwiches, and New Day keep their playpen spotless, which means you never have to worry about dropping the soap.
So prepare yourself for some new tag team champs, because New Day rocks, etc.

Fandango is telling Chet he needs the forensics today, not tomorrow. Tyler Breeze rolls up and Fandango promises they're gonna get him when their dial-up internet connects and scares the bejeezus out of Breeze. It's a message to answer the door and Tyler retrieves a VHS tape marked "watch this". They put it in the VCR and it's two shadowy figures taking credit for the attack.
If they want to know who they are, they'll meet them in the ring tonight. They may want to be starting something, but Breezango don't stop until they've got enough.

Throwing punches, Jinder capitalizes, chop block, club to the back of the neck, kicks to the legs, the champion breaks the count and that gives Randy the opportunity to mount a comeback but the Maharaja puts him into the steep steps and cuts the rally off.
Back in the ring, Jinder goes right back after the leg, wrenching it over the ropes as referee Mike Chioda counts and warns him. Choke in the corner, step-up knee drops across the throat and another choke under the ropes as Randy stumbles towards his dad.
