Lana ‘excited about showing my in-ring journey’ on Total Divas, SmackDown Live

WWE.com

Lana is no longer a manager for her husband, Rusev. She is no longer a mouthpiece. She is no longer simply a reality television star. She’s a wrestler, having put in a lot of time and effort into her training to become just that.

So she tells For The Win:

“I’m really excited about showing my in-ring journey because I have been training a lot over the last year. It wasn’t always a skip in the park, but I was just so hungry to learn. My past is very, very different than (the other performers). But I am a strong believer to follow your own path, no matter what people think.”

Said journey will be shown on the next season of Total Divas and we’ll see the fruits of her labor this coming Sunday night at Money in the Bank when she wrestles Naomi for the SmackDown women’s championship. If this story sounds familiar that’s because it’s awfully similar to what Eva Marie went through not long ago.

Now we wait to see if Lana can do what Eva could not.

Think she can?

Think she will?
