Now more than ever, the world needs a good dose of positivity. We here at Cageside Seats will do our small part to bring that positivity on a daily basis. Throughout the entirety of 2017, we’ll say something nice about wrestling and everything around it, past, present, and future.
As a reminder, only positive comments are allowed here. No negative comments, no troll comments, no back-handed compliments. None of that here. You have the rest of the site for that. Any comments that are not in the spirit of this feature will be flagged, deleted, and posters of said comments may be subjected to a ban.
Got this suggestion from my Twitter gimmick (though I’m almost sure I’ve seen it suggested more than once):
@notoriouseddie Hey there. I'd love to see "Let's Say Nice Things About...Jobbers" on CSS one day(if you haven't made that one yet)— T.H. (@threddevil) June 12, 2017
You know... let’s do that. Today’s subject: jobbers. After all, the world needs ditch diggers.
Say what you will, but those low-enders on the ladder are important too. They can be just as valuable, if not more so, in getting a talent over with fans. After getting away from the mindset during the Monday Night Wars (and well after them, for that matter), it’s nice that the big shows have brought them back in recent years. They’re expendable, they’re inexpensive, and they can make someone look like a million bucks.
And once in a while, you stumble upon the next great star.
Got a suggestion for a future “Let’s Say Nice Things About...”? Hit me up on the Twitter gimmick @notoriouseddie. I may not always respond, but I will read it.
