We’ve waited a while for Universal champion Brock Lesnar to return to WWE television. It’s been 70 days since the Beast Incarnate was anything other than something Paul Heyman warned us about during a promo.
But he’s back tonight (June 12), and we won’t have to wait one minute longer than necessary to hear “Next Big Thing”, as it’s been announced Lesnar will appear at the start of the broadcast...

That’s good, because it means we’ll get Brock’s response to Samoa Joe chocking out his advocate last week - and the possible physicality being teased by Joe and Heyman on social media today - right away.
It’s also smart business, since Raw is going head-to-head with Game 5 of the NBA Finals between LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers and Steph Curry and Kevin Durant’s Golden State Warriors beginning at 9PM Eastern. Promoting Brock at the start gives WWE a chance to grab some eyeballs who might not tune in for anything after tip-off.
