After undergoing shoulder surgery in March, word was Rusev would be on the shelf for 2 - 4 months. When he was moved to SmackDown in the Superstar Shake-Up after WrestleMania, WWE went ahead and started a return angle for him a month into his recovery, when he appeared via video on April 25 to issue an ultimatum... give him a World title shot at June’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV), or he was going back to Bulgaria.
Well, it seems blue brand commissioner Shane McMahon hasn’t gotten back to RuRu, and he doesn’t like it...
If you don't want to reply to me @shanemcmahon, I come to #SDLive to get my answer. #RusevReturn pic.twitter.com/Ddu6QOSDh6

Two weeks ago, I demanded that Shane McMahon gives me a WWE title opportunity at Money in the Bank or else I’ll just walk, I’ll go right back home. And since I’ve made my demand, I have heard from the SmackDown LIVE commissioner. I don’t like being ignored. That’s even more disrespectful than turning me down. I want an answer - and I’ll get one when I come to SmackDown LIVE... next week.
Thoughts on this angle, Cagesiders? Excited for #RusevReturn?
