Chris Jericho lost the United States championship to Kevin Owens on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live. Then he took a beating that made it quite clear he was being written off television for the time being. His immediate future includes a tour with his band, Fozzy, who just released a new song (that is actually quite catchy).
On his Instagram, he made sure to say goodbye while making sure to give us hope this isn’t the last we’ll see of him:
Jericho is still at the top of his game, with this latest run arguably one of his best. The man got a clipboard and a piece of paper over to the degree it may have been the most popular thing on Monday Night Raw for a number of weeks, or even months. We can only hope he’s happy out there rocking a stage near you and that he’ll get the itch to return to WWE sooner rather than later.
