Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon hasn’t been on television since she went through a table during the match between her husband Triple H and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 33. Her storyline injury from that incident was one of the reasons her father named Kurt Angle as General Manager of the red brand, so someone would be running the show on Monday nights.
Of course, on-screen authority figure is only one of many roles Stephanie plays for the family empire. And while she was representing WWE in Dubai last week, she addressed her return to television in an interview with The National.
For starters, she doesn’t know when it’s going to happen:
Honestly, I don't know and that is the God's honest truth.
But whenever it’s determined she’s needed on television again (and the way WWE likes to throw McMahons at ratings slumps, that might be sooner than later), she’s looking forward to working with Angle again. Things will be different from their Attitude Era love triangle story, though:
I can't wait to work with Kurt. Kurt is so entertaining. He is really funny. I think it is going to be so much and hopefully having that interaction and this time the situation is a little bit different as I am the boss.
What say you, Cagesiders? Looking forward to Steph’s return, and a reunion with the Olympic gold medalist? Or is Raw better with just one boss?
