WWE Extreme Rules 2017 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Extreme Rules event set to take place on Sun., June 4, 2016, at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. This is the all-gimmick show on the calendar and is a Monday Night Raw exclusive event.

We're just one week out and the card is basically set:

  • Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe

WWE needs to find a top contender to the Universal championship and they’re doing it with this Fatal 5-Way. The winner gets a match against Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire.

  • Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz (Intercontinental championship)

The added stipulation for this one is that if Ambrose is disqualified he will still lose his title.

  • Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley (Raw women’s championship)

The way they’ve gotten extreme is by using a kendo stick, so, naturally, they’ll have a “Kendo Stick on a Pole” match.

  • The Hardy Men vs. Cesaro & Sheamus (Raw tag team championship)

Matt Hardy won the right to pick the stipulation for this one and he chose a steel cage.

  • Neville vs. Austin Aries (Cruiserweight championship)

Aries has failed time after time but he’ll get one more shot at the title, this time in a Submission match.

That’s all that is official so far but we can expect a couple more to be added to the show in the coming week.
