After reports indicated they would make their make their return to WWE television this week, The New Day failed to appear on SmackDown Live in Toledo. They did, however, show up on Talking Smack.
What they had to say:
Big E: "We have our eyes everywhere. My eyes are on you too, and on Renee. My eyes are everywhere. A lot of good things happening in the tag division. The Usos are obviously very dominant right now but Breezango are surging and American Alpha, a lot of people have been sleeping on American Alpha. Don't sleep!"
Kofi: "We always try to push ourselves to be the best that we can be and obviously the tag team competition here is top notch so we want to kind of throw ourselves in their with these guys and see what's what."
