Tyler Breeze and Fandango, the collective known as Breezango, finally got their crack at the SmackDown tag team titles when they took on The Usos at tonight’s (Sun., May 21, 2017) WWE Backlash pay-per-view (PPV) at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
Breeze showed up for the match still dressed in his janitor disguise. He even brought a mop to clean up the apron while Fandango was in the ring. Once he was tagged in, he used the mop to clean up and fend off any attack from his foe.
The early part of the match was all comedy, but good comedy, relative to what we’re used to from WWE.
It continued when Breeze, in his janitor disguise, was knocked to the outside, disappeared for a time, then came back dressed as an old lady. The crowd chanted “let’s go grandma.” At one point he stopped a charging Jimmy by flashing him.
When they got serious, the action was fast and furious, with The Usos throwing Breeze into the barricade (and the crowd) before Fandango came flying over the top to take them both out. When he tried to go up top to finish the job with his leg drop, he was knocked off and superkicked into a pin.
The Usos are still champs.
The world isn’t fair.
