Two more matches round out the WWE Backlash card

Heading into the May 16 edition of SmackDown, WWE had only announced six matches for the blue brand’s pay-per-view (PPV) this weekend. And one of those was the pre-show match which would take place before the three hour Backlash main show.

Throughout Tuesday night, however, they filled up the card.

On the main broadcast, Sami Zayn informed us that after weeks of brawling between he and Baron Corbin, they will finally have a one-on-one encounter in Chicago this Sunday. Immediately after delivering the news, he was - of course - assaulted by the Lone Wolf.

Then on Talking Smack, Erick Rowan asked commissioner Shane McMahon for an opportunity to inflict more punishment on his former Wyatt Family brother Luke Harper, and Shane O’Mac gave it to him.

Here’s the updated, and presumably final, line-up for Backlash:

- Randy Orton (c) vs. Jinder Mahal for WWE World title

- Kevin Owens (c) vs. AJ Styles for the United States championship

- The Usos (c) vs. Breezango for the tag team titles

- Naomi, Charlotte & Becky Lynch vs. Natalya, Carmella & Tamina

- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Dolph Ziggler

- Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin

- Luke Harper vs. Erick Rowan

- Tye Dillinger vs. Aiden English (Kickoff match)
