Brock Lesnar’s WWE return dates revealed

We’ve known for a little while now that Brock Lesnar’s first defense of the Universal title he won from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 would come at the July 9 pay-per-view Great Balls of Fire.

What “30 Day Rule”?

Anyway... WWE is now advertising the Beast Incarnate for several Monday dates in June and July, so we at least have an idea of when he’ll be back to start building to his title match - and possibly to set-up his next one at SummerSlam.

That’s because the list includes both the “go home” and fallout shows for Great Balls of Fire. And seeing as Lesnar is certainly going to appear in Brooklyn on August 20, we should get a hint of his direction when he shows up on July 10.

Here’s Brock (and presumably Paul Heyman)’s schedule:

June 12 - Lafayette, Louisiana
June 26 - Los Angeles
July 3 - Phoenix
Jul 10 - Houston

The Phoenix show is not only the last show before Great Balls of Fire, it’s also the night before John Cena will be appearing with the blue brand in the same building. WWE and Talking Stick Resort Arena are reportedly offering a deal where one ticket gets you into both nights, as they’re worried about competing with the Fourth of July holiday.

No matter - the main takeaway is the Universal champion is almost back.

Excited?
