WWE Payback 2017 match card, rumors

The next pay-per-view (PPV) on the WWE schedule is the Payback show set to take place on Sun., April 30, 2017, at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. This is the second year the event will follow WrestleMania, as it switched spots with Extreme Rules. This will also be a Monday Night Raw brand show.

We're now three weeks out from showtime and only one match on the card is official.

  • Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho (United States championship)

They made this official as quickly as possible, although they ran what appeared to be an injury angle to write Jericho off television to make room for Finn Balor to return. He did so but this match appears to still be on.

Other clear directions look to be Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns, The Hardy Men vs. Cesaro & Sheamus, and Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe. That said, the Superstar Shake-Up next week is going to change the roster around, so it’s hard to know exactly what we’ll get in a few weeks.

Stay tuned.
