Last month, we learned that Rusev would be out of action for a while thanks to the fact that he was forced to undergo shoulder surgery. There hasn’t been much news on him since then but his wife, Lana, changed all that when she told Busted Open Radio when we can expect him back.
When asked how he’s doing:
"He's good. He had shoulder surgery, so he's healing up. He just started working out again. He's really excited about that. Yesterday he went to the gym and did two separate hours of cardio. I'm glad he's feeling better that he can actually... because that was the hardest thing for him. He was like 'I want to work out, I want to work out.' But, you can't work out. ... (He'll be back in) 2 to 4 months, somewhere around there. That's what they said."
He’ll come back to a different landscape considering the upcoming “Superstar Shake-Up” and post-WrestleMania reset WWE is currently in the midst of. As far as we’re concerned, he can’t get back soon enough.
