Raw viewers up big post-WrestleMania 33

WWE.com

Surprise!

The biggest episode of Monday Night Raw of the year, coming one night after the biggest pay-per-view of the year, WrestleMania 33, saw a big jump in viewers. This week’s show drew 3.76 million viewers, up from last week’s 3.29 million.

They were down from last year, however, which drew 4.09 million.

Here’s the hourly breakdown:

Hour one: 3.83 million
Hour two: 3.89 million
Hour three: 3.58 million

There was stiff competition from a strong NCAA Championship Final basketball game that saw North Carolina outlast Gonzaga. Still, Raw was tops for the night on cable.

It’s not the strongest number but television viewing patterns have been changing for some time and they just announced a WWE Network subscriber number just shy of two million. All told, business looks pretty good for Vince McMahon and co. right now.
