WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made his return to television on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw to announce Kurt Angle as the new General Manager of the show while also declaring there would be what he called a “Superstar shake up” next week.
He didn’t give a lot of details but thankfully WWE.com is filling in some of the gaps on what we can expect from it:
Mr. McMahon also announced he has already conferred with lead representatives from Raw and SmackDown LIVE in advance of the shake-up that will take place for both brands. That includes the newly named Raw General Manager, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, as well as SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan, who are already in ongoing discussions with each other regarding next week's anticipated Superstar movement, WWE.com has confirmed.
The WWE Chairman will be granting both sides an opportunity to make trades, deals and other moves that they feel fit, according to WWE.com sources. There are many potential maneuvers that the WWE Universe will surely be buzzing over.
That sure makes it sound like they aren’t doing a full blown draft but rather giving the two General Managers the chance to swap a few wrestlers to freshen things up on the red and blue shows, respectively.
Get ready for a lot of rumors and who is going where.
Excited?
