Asuka’s undefeated streak reaches 169

New, comments

NXT Women’s champion Asuka hasn’t been pinned or submitted since joining WWE in 2015, and with the company drawing attention to the number of wins she’s racked up over that time - and even making comparisons to Goldberg’s legendary WCW streak - we’ve decided to follow along.

On Saturday night (April 29) in Southaven, Mississippi, the Empress of Tomorrow teamed with Ruby Riot to defeat Peyton Royce & Billie Kay. It was rematch of the night before in St. Louis, but at least it featured Iconic Duo pre-match shenanigans (that they were surely killed for later) like this:

And it puts Asuka’s streak at...

169!

4 more to tie - and 5 to break - Bill G’s WWE-acknowledged 1997 - 1998 streak.

The main travelling group heads West for shows in Arizona and California next weekend. Maybe she racks up some wins there and then they ice her for a big night in Chicago for the May 20 TakeOver?

We’ll find out.
