Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens is WWE Payback’s first match

Right before he put the tip of Kevin Owens’ finger on “The List” for helping KO beat him at WrestleMania 33 and costing him the United States championship, Chris Jericho confirmed he’ll get his rematch for the belt at the next Raw brand pay-per-view (PPV), April 30’s Payback.

Y2J is expected to take some time off in May, so this is likely going to be the end of their story. Unless that end actually came tonight, when Owens and his partner Samoa Joe delivered a beating which left Chris unable to compete with Seth Rollins in a scheduled tag match main event.

Who will replace Jericho? Stay tuned.
