The Revival debut on Raw, answering New Day’s open challenge

2016’s Raw after WrestleMania gave us a popular NXT tag team’s debut on the main roster.

2017’s was better.

The longest reigning tag team champions in WWE history, and the hosts of “The Ultimate Thrill Ride” showed up in Amway Center tonight (April 3) to re-enter the wrestling ring after several weeks off focusing on their emcee gig. New Day issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room for anyone who thought they could hang with the Princes of Positivity, and...

Two-time NXT champs Dash & Dawson call themselves the best tag team on the planet, showed up to prove it to the greater WWE Universe.

Facing Big E and Xavier Woods, the Orlando crowd was treated to the kind of old-school dissection The Revival is known. E broke out a few suplexes when he was in the match, but it was a short-lived run. Not only did the Top Guys pick up a win after hitting their Shatter Machine finisher on Woods...

... but afterwards, they worked over Kofi Kingston, and targeted his leg like he was their old NXT rival, Johnny Gargano.

Looks like we’re getting a Revival/New Day program.
