It sure sounds like AJ Styles will be back in the WWE title picture post-WrestleMania 33

AJ Styles lost the WWE championship to John Cena at Royal Rumble earlier this year but he spent the next couple months doing everything he could to get the title back. He came up short at Elimination Chamber but set himself up for a title match at WrestleMania 33 that somehow turned into a match with SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon.

Now that he won that, because of course he did, what does he want to do next? As he said in his post-match interview:

"Isn't that what it's all about? This is what WrestleMania is all about, it doesn't matter where you are just as long as you're out there and you give them the show that they want to see. That's what they paid for. And despite how I feel about Shane McMahon, that was a pretty unbelievable match. Two guys that wanted it bad, two guys that went up there and really scrapped, got after it, punched each other in the face. That's the American way and we just did it. Whoever has the championship, I want it. That's what this is about. It's about being a champion. I'm a winner and winner's find a way to win. That's what I do."

And what does Shane himself have to say about his title aspirations? From his post-match interview with WWE:

"I'm sure he will get it. He was an amazing champion with a meteoric rise in less than a year's time. He's there. You can't deny that guy."

They may indeed be building to Styles vs. Orton, which sure sounds like a hell of a feud to kick off Orton’s title run. Then again, Bray Wyatt still looms large.
