Don't miss WWE's Payback pay-per-view (PPV), streamed live on WWE Network!
Live from SAP Center in San Jose, California, this will be the fifth Payback in WWE history, and the latest Raw-only PPV in the company’s new brand split era - although as a result of the "Superstar Shake-up", it will feature two bouts with SmackDown talent.
With the Universal champion taking a break for an event or two, this show has several bouts which could potentially main event. Braun Strowman's rise to the top of the card continues as he prepares to again face his nemesis Roman Reigns - a Big Dog who just chased Undertaker out of his yard at WrestleMania. It's not entirely clear if his World title is on the line, but Randy Orton is stepping into a House of Horrors's when his rival, and new Raw roster member, Bray Wyatt. And whoever wins the match between Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho takes the United States championship to Tuesday night, but that's almost secondary to the personal feud between these former best friends.
The Women's title will be on the line, as hometown girl Bayley faces two-time blue brand champ Alexa Bliss. The Hardy Boyz returned just before the Shake-Up at 'Mania, but they're already champs. They'll try to keep it that way as they defend against Cesaro & Sheamus... as well as deal with the conflict in Matt's vessel. In a rematch from the Showcase of the Immortals, King Neville again defends his Cruiserweight belt against Austin Aries, while in non-title action, Samoa Joe tries to avenge his benefactor Triple H in his PPV debut against Seth Rollins.
A pre-show leads into the three hour main show, and features a panel discussion of all the matches with Renee Young, Sam Roberts, Jerry Lawler and others. That hour long program will also include a tag match between Enzo Amore & Big Cass and Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, and a special edition of Miz TV with special guest Finn Bálor. You can find the Kickoff on WWE Network and YouTube (among other places - like right here at cSs!).
The main broadcast will begin at 8PM ET/5PM PT. For all the ways to watch this annual event, sign-up at WWE.com, or consult you cable or satellite provider.
