We may not see Rusev until Money in the Bank, where he’s demanding a title match

This week’s episode of SmackDown live featured the debut of Rusev on the blue brand following the “Superstar Shake-Up,” in video form, at least. He was simply delivering a message while he continues to rehab the shoulder injury that has kept him out of action.

That message:

“I don’t like SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan. I don’t like SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon, and I do not agree with his father’s shake-up. So I told them the only way I will come wrestle for SmackDown Live is when they give me a championship match at Money in the Bank. Otherwise, I’ll just pack my bags and go right back home to Bulgaria.”

Money in the Bank isn’t until June, which is about in line with the return date Lana forecasted earlier this month. The next SmackDown pay-per-view (PPV) on the schedule is next month’s Backlash show. At least, from the sounds of it, he may be getting a push immediately upon his return.
