When Seth Rollins tested out a new finisher on the house show circuit, a number of smarter-than-me Cagesiders immediately noticed it looked a lot like New Japan star & Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega’s move, the Rain Trigger.
As you can see in the video at the top of this post, Rollins unveiled his version of the move on television last night (April 24) at Raw in Kansas City to earn a victory for his squad of Big Cass & former New Japan star Finn Balor when they faced Samoa Joe and former Bullet Club members Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows.

To clarify,I'm not upset. The thievery of late is blatant/funny but anyone is free to put their own spin on stuff.I'll be out doing the same— Kenny Omega (@KennyOmegamanX) April 25, 2017
You can tell by his reTweets...
@thewrestlinglad pretty sure most of my signature stuff is original, but that's a great go-to answer to defend everyone.— Kenny Omega (@KennyOmegamanX) April 25, 2017
he’s not entirely thrilled, either.
Oh well. This will provide a nice ‘reality’ era backdrop to the inevitable Rollins/Omega showdown at SummerSlam 2019.
