Let’s Say Nice Things About... Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar

In an effort to bring some positivity to professional wrestling—and the world for that matter—Cageside Seats and its community will say nice things about people and things in wrestling every single day throughout 2017.

A reminder of the rules: only positivity allowed here. No back-handed compliments, and CERTAINLY NO NEGATIVITY. If you don’t have something nice to say, keep it to yourself, or take it elsewhere. Negative comments will be deleted and you may be subjected to a ban. Cool? Cool.

It’s Wrestlemania week. In fact, I believe today’s the day. With that, today’s subject is the show’s likely main event, Goldberg versus Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.

I’ll start.

Remember this stinker from Wrestlemania XX? They cannot do worse. It’s almost impossible. His son’s gonna be watching, and he’s probably going to be shirtless, and if it is Goldberg’s final match, he will probably not want to go out with a stinker.

I think there is a bit of unpredictability to the bout. Not so much who wins, that’s pretty obvious. But where it goes on the show, and more importantly, how long it lasts. Just the number of possibilities with this bout makes this perhaps the most intriguing Wrestlemania main event in recent memory.

And isn’t that how you want your Wrestlemania main event?
