WWE Champion Randy Orton will defend his title against Bray Wyatt in a “House of Horrors” match at the upcoming Payback pay-per-view (PPV) on April 30 in San Jose. After that, it’s unclear what comes next.
To prepare for this, a Six-Pack Challenge was booked for this week’s episode of SmackDown Live pitting Sami Zayn vs. Luke Harper vs. Erick Rowan vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Mojo Rawley.
It seemed as though everyone in the match got a near fall at one point, an attempt to convince you any one of them could be the next top contender to the WWE title. But it could only be one.
There's no more HINDERING @JinderMahal anymore, as he has become the NEW #1Contender to the #WWEChampionship! #SDLive pic.twitter.com/ygHaDfxkM0

That’s right ... JINDER.
The finish saw two men hold Sami Zayn back from delivering the Helluva Kick, which led to Mahal finishing off Zayn to get the pin and earn a match against Orton for the title at Backlash next month.
The two men, Tom Phillips remarked, may have been the Bollywood Boyz.
After, Randy Orton hit the scene to tell Mahal is about to eat an RKO and be sent on his merry way but first he has to burn down Bray Wyatt’s “House of Horrors” at Payback later this month.
Orton vs. Mahal is a real main event coming your way this year, Cagesiders, assuming “The Viper” beats Wyatt.
