Matt Hardy doesn’t know who he is and that’s awesome

We wondered what would become of Broken Matt Hardy when he made his return to WWE, what with those “evil” Anthem Owl-men claiming ownership of the gimmick. Upon their arrival at WrestleMania 33, where they won the Raw tag team titles, Matt and Jeff were referred to as “The Hardy Boyz” and “Team Xtreme,” both names they previously worked under in WWE.

To help explain this on social media, Matt said the fans at the show were so great it cured him of his CONDISHION. When “DELETE” chants were heard at Raw the night after, he quickly noted it was TRIGGERING him and made him feel SAVAGE.

Now, though, he’s changed his social media and is paying tribute to another old Matt Hardy character:

This may be the most interesting he’s ever been. Matt Hardy does not know who he is, and watching him struggle with his various personalities is a legitimately fascinating way to play this latest return to WWE.

I can’t wait to see what comes next.
