NXT Women’s champion Asuka hasn’t been pinned or submitted since joining WWE in 2015, and with the company drawing attention to the number of wins she’s racked up over that time - and even making comparisons to Goldberg’s legendary WCW streak - we’ve decided to follow along.
On Saturday night (April 15) in Concord, North Carolina, the Empress of Tomorrow again defeated Ember Moon. She retained her NXT Women’s title, grabbing a handful of tights to secure the pinfall as they continue building the story of her using any means necessary to keep her belt (and for those wondering - yep, she’s still travelling with the old design).

164!
9 more to tie Bill G’s acknowledged 1997 - 1998 streak.
NXT has a light schedule next week, with only a taping at Full Sail and one Florida-area house show, but then things pick up and they’ll be busy at home and across the U.S. all the way to May’s TakeOver: Chicago show.
