Elias Samson was drifting around at Raw last night

Ever since losing a “Loser Leaves NXT” match against Kassius Ohno at a February taping of WWE’s third brand (the bout aired March 29 on WWE Network), the writing has been on the wall for Elias Samson. The guitar-strumming heat magnet known as The Drifter tried posing as the luchador El Vagabundo, but was unmasked by Oney Lorcan and carried out of a different Orlando arena last week.

So what’s a wandering musician of dubious songwriting skills to do? For starters, stroll through Nassau Coliseum during a match between Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax on Monday Night Raw:

Then, he found his way on-stage during The Hardy Boyz entrance, just to make sure everyone saw him - and he could once again aggravate ex-NXT color commentator and fellow Pittsburgher Corey Graves:

It’s a different way to introduce a character to the larger WWE Universe, although considering how Samson’s greatest strength is making strangers hate him by serenading them against their will, he might not have needed it.

Will Elias drift onto SmackDown LIVE tonight (April 11), or is he destined to cause Graves fits on the red brand?

What the main roster needs is what he am (whatever that means).
