Kurt Angle’s first WWE appearance in years was a teaser for a future special

If you were interested in the second episode of WWE Network’s Bring it to the Table to see new Hall of Famer Kurt Angle in his first official appearance on a company production in over a decade, you didn’t miss much.

The segment, an interview conducted by Corey Graves which WWE has been hyping for more than a week, was actually itself hype for a future special announced during Bring it to the Table - a WWE 24 documentary special focused on Angle.

No release date was announced for that program, but Peter Rosenberg did reveal Bring it to the Table will return during WrestleMania week for a live broadcast. That is set for Thursday, March 30 at 8PM Eastern.

Here’s a clip of the Angle interview which aired on last night’s broadcast, where the Olympic Gold Medalist discusses meeting Vince McMahon for the first time in 11 years:

I didn't know what to expect, I thought he'd want to punch me in the face for everything. He was willing to say let's forgive and forget, and let's move on. When he saw me he immediately hugged me. It was like that father welcoming that son back and saying, 'It's good to have you back home.

Elsewhere in the clip, Angle talked about how important a return to WWE was for his legacy, and how getting in the Hall is “more important than actually wrestling after this. I prefer the Hall of Fame induction over anything else.”

We’ll let you know when we hear more about when we’ll be able to catch the newest WWE 24 on Angle.
