Bray Wyatt changes his tune on WWE not knowing how to use The Wyatt Family

WWE.com

Well, this is an interesting change of perspective.

Less than one year ago, Bray Wyatt was openly stating in interviews that WWE didn’t know how to use The Wyatt Family. It would have been hard to argue his point then, and in some ways you could say the same now. He won’t, though.

No, he’s totally changed his tune.

He addressed the aforementioned comments in an interview with For The Win:

“I had those issues (with the company) and those issues have been moments that made me a better person. That’s the reality of the situation. I am going to headline WrestleMania, and I don’t care who knows it or who’s afraid of it. That’s what it’s going to be.”

The timing of this is awful interesting, considering current rumors call for Wyatt to win the WWE world championship at Elimination Chamber this Sunday night before going on to wrestle Randy Orton for said title in a featured match at WrestleMania 33.

And as for his being in this spot being “overdue:”

“That’s on me. I’m not going to sit here and blame anyone else or point the finger. It’s on me to step up. I don’t want to sit back 20 years from now and say I wish I had done something now. My mind is in the right place and I know what I have to do. This is the Era of Wyatt. I know it. Everyone else knows it. Now it’s time to deliver.”

Again, the timing is interesting, if nothing else. That said, it’s hard to argue with Wyatt finally getting a push that (likely) involves his winning his first ever singles title and will lead to a marquee match at the biggest event of the year.

He deserves it.
