WWE NXT live results (Feb. 8, 2017): Glorious celebration

WWE.com

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network.

Check out our Wednesday morning preview post to get caught up on what's been happening, and what we expect this week.

We'll post match results here, and we will also have our regular reactions post later. In the meantime, and most importantly, this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever happens on WWE’s third brand - during its initial broadcast!

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcasts (including here), but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.

Enjoy the show!

- Nigel McGuiness debuts as Corey Graves’ replacement

- SAnitY (Killain Dain & Alexander Wolfe w/Eric Young & Nikki Cross) def. Bollywood Boyz via pinfall following Ulster Plantation; Wolfe never even tagged in

- EY gets a microphone, and Nikki tries to grab it screaming “ASUKA”. Young gets it back and says he humbled Tye Dillinger at TakeOver, and reminds the Perfect Ten he belongs with SAnitY.

- Liv Morgan def. Billie Kay (w/ Peyton Royce) via pinfall with a bridging cover

- Andrea D’Marco asks Dillinger about Young’s comments, and he says that in San Antonio he just fell to the numbers game. He’s definitely not joining SAnitY. When he starts to talk about Royal Rumble, EY attacks. The group attacks him all the way to the ring, where Tye takes down Wolfe & Young before being flattened by Dain. Roderick Strong & No Way Jose run-in and even things up, and all three faces hit Killian with their signature moves to clear the ring and stand tall.

- General Manager William Regal informs us next week the United Kingdom championship will be defended by Tyler Bate against Trent Seven. Peyton & Billie barge in and demand a match with Liv for next week. Regal grants it, with Morgan getting a partner of her choosing. The Icons laugh because they don’t think Liv doesn’t have any friends.

- The Revival def. Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight & Otis Dozovic) via pinfall after a DDT from Scott Dawson to Knight

- Dawson & Dash in-ring promo lamenting that people seem to have forgotten about the Revival and saying #DIY should never have won the belts seeing as they couldn’t defend them in Texas. They tell champions Authors of Pain that they haven’t beat them yet. Paul Ellering brings Akam & Rezar out, so Dash & Dawson bail. But when the champs pose at the top of the ramp, the Top Guys attack, throwing Rezar off the ramp and double-teaming Akam before running off again.

- Video package on UK champ Tyler Bate

- Bobby Roode’s GLORIOUS celebration: he’s not the kind of guy to say I told you so... except he TOTALLY is. He says his win was him fulfilling his promise, talks his surviving Shinsuke Nakamura and says it’s no longer “We are NXT” because it’s now HIS NXT.

- Video package on Trent Seven

- SAnitY def. Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong & No Way Jose via pinfall (Young on Strong after a Nikki Cross distraction created an opening for Killian Dain to level Roddy with a running crossbody)
