Neville will defend his cruiserweight title against Jack Gallagher at Fastlane

Tonight (Feb. 7, 2017) on 205 Live there was a fatal 5-way elimination to crown the new number one contender for Neville’s cruiserweight title at the Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV).

Here’s how it went:

  • Cedric Alexander eliminated Noam Dar with the Lumbar Check when the Scottish Supernova was too busy showboating.
  • TJ Perkins hit the Detonation Kick and pinned Alexander after Dar came back to knock Cedric off the top rope. Looks like these two aren’t done with each other.
  • TJ Perkins submitted Mustafa Ali (who won a match earlier in the night to earn a spot in this match) with an arm bar after Ali missed his inverted 450 and injured his arm on the landing.
  • This left TJP and the Gentleman Jack Gallagher. Jack was already nursing a bad leg from a kick from Dar earlier in the night. (Wear some kneepads, dude.) Perkins tried to take advantage with his leg submission but Gallagher was able to fight his way to the rope and eventually hit his corner drop kick for the win.

After the match, the King of the Cruiserweights came out to stare down his countryman and challenger. This certainly will be an interesting match up with the ruthless champion taking on the sometimes silly gentleman.

Who’s excited for the Battle of the Brits at Fastlane?
